We are reaching out to tell you more about our Best Buddies Program here at LaPerche!
Best Buddies International is a nonprofit organization that promotes inclusion and meaningful friendships for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
Our LaPerche chapter brings students together through monthly group activities at school and in the Smithfield community. Our goal is to build friendships, encourage inclusion, and create opportunities for students to connect inside and outside of the school day.
How to Join: All students must complete a membership application. Select LaPerche Elementary when signing up. Parents, please include your email for communication purposes.

Our next event is and Trivia for a Cause on October 28th at the Thirsty Beaver in Smithfield at 6:30pm. Join us for a fun night of trivia, friendly competition, and raffle giveaways!
We have some great raffle prizes donated by local businesses, including GiGi’s Scoops, Sensory Play Place, Launch Trampoline Park, and more! All proceeds will go toward supporting our LaPerche Best Buddies chapter and helping us create more opportunities for friendship, inclusion, and connection among our students.
We would love to see our LaPerche families come out and support this special program! Please feel free to share the flyer with family and friends as well.
