Dear Families,
We are looking forward to welcoming all students and staff at school on Monday, December 1st. As we enter the busy month of December, with various celebrations, events, and schedule changes, it can be easy for routines to shift. We highly recommend you maintain a consistent school-day routine—regular bedtimes, on-time arrival, and steady homework habits—helps students feel grounded and ready to learn.
Classroom instruction continues full steam ahead throughout December, and maintaining strong attendance is especially important.Just a friendly reminder, any student arriving after 8:50 am is considered late and you must park your vehicle and sign your child in.
Each day of learning builds on the last, and your support makes a meaningful difference in your child’s progress.

Tuesday, December 2nd-PTO Movie Night event/There is no PTO meeting this evening..
Wednesday, December 3rd-NO SCHOOL/ Parent Teacher Conferences from 1:00-7:45 p.m.
Friday, December 5th-Holiday Event at PVES! Sensory Friendly Hour 5:30-6:00 pm The event runs from 6:00-8:00pm Today is the 67th day of school! Wear your 6-7!
Saturday, December 6th-SSELAC/Santa with activities at SHS from 9:00 am -12:00 pm
Saturday, December 6th- Smithfield All Lit Up Parade
