New Corresponding Secretary
As you know, we have one PTA board position that we need to fill, Corresponding Secretary. I am so happy to share that Kristen Gahon has accepted the position! Welcome to the PTA Board, Kristen. With Kristen’s appointment, we are cancelling our PTA meeting scheduled for tonight at 6:30. We look forward to seeing everyone in the fall at our first PTA meeting.
Picking Up Summer Bridge Book
If you have not picked up your child’s Summer Bridge Book, please head to LaPerche from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM Tuesday. June 16 through Thursday, June 18. Mrs. Bazinet will be at the school during those hours.
Dropping Off Chromebooks
If you did not drop off your child’s Chromebook last Friday, please head to Smithfield High School on Thursday, June 18 from 3:00-5:30 to drop it off. All Chromebooks need to be returned for the summer unless your child is attending ESY.
Focus Group to Help Plan for Fall 2020
We know that many families are concerned about what school is going to look like in the fall. We invite you to participate in a focus group that will meet regularly this summer (virtually) to provide feedback on plans being made. Field Day Pictures
If you ask LaPerche kids to list their favorite days of school, Field Day would be close to the top for most. This year we had to host field day virtually. Each LaPerche faculty member partnered up and created an online station. The kids traveled as a class to each station and from the looks of the pictures, had a blast! Thank you to all the staff for bringing the energy and to the families for jumping into field day with the students! Virtual Field Day was a smashing success!
