BE....KIND--School Wide Challenge

Has your child been extra kind this week?  Hopefully so because KIND is our word of the week!  Right now we have a school wide challenge of acting KIND towards all at all times!  Students are writing down acts of kindness on colored hearts and displaying them in the main foyer.  If your child is KIND at home encourage him/her to complete a heart and hang it on the wall.  During lunch I showed a video from Kid President who shared the “20 things We Need to Say More Often”. When you have a chance, rewatch it and discuss it with your child! Kindergarten has not seen it yet!

Class Clone Spirit Day--Friday, September 26

Our September student council has chosen their spirit day! Friday, September 26 is CLASS CLONE DAY!!  Classrooms will determine a theme such as “Hat Day” or “Sunglasses Day” and the whole class will participate together!  Look for information to be coming home from your child’s teacher about the class theme.
