LaPerche Elementary School, as an inclusive learning community devoted to high standards and best teaching practices for all students, is to inspire life-long learning and to develop responsible, self-confident children capable of effective communication and problem solving, through a collaboration of parents, teachers, students, and the community, which fosters a safe, respectful environment, recognizing diversity and individuality.

Last Call for LEAP Sign Ups--January 31, 2017

 This is the Last Call for LEAP sign-ups!  

Registration closes promptly tomorrow evening so that we have all the information needed for LEAP classes starting next week.  Chinese Confucius starts tomorrow!
We still have a few classes with openings available:
Legos:  1 more opening
Pokemon:  3 more openings
Quidditch:  4 more openings
Yoga:  4 more openings
Please make sure you print off the Health and Consent forms off of the RC LaPerche PTA website and send those in as soon as possible along with classpayment, if you haven't done so already. http://rclaperchepta.org/leap-2/

December PTA Meeting--Wednesday, December 7

The December PTA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, December 7 at 6:30 with the 5th grade committee meeting scheduled for 7:30.  For all upcoming events, please visit the calendar which can be found above under the "Parent Info" page.  Additionally, you can add our calendar to your calanedar by clicking on the +Google Calendar in the bottom right hand corner. 

Facebook Page Has Launched--November 2016

The Raymond C. LaPerche facebook page has launched!  When on Facebook, search for Raymond C. LaPerche and then friend us.  Mrs. Bazinet or I will accept the friend request and then you can view the posts and photos and see what's happening at LaPerche!

Please take a minute to read this update from LaPerche including information about an exciting start to our day, building reading stamina, flexible seating and details about open house. We hope to see everyone on Thursday night, September 15, between 5:30 and 7:30 for Open House and Friday night, September 16, for our back to school BBQ starting at 5:30.

Raymond C. LaPerche Elementary School is one of four elementary schools in the Smithfield Public School system. Our school is dedicated to Raymond C. LaPerche, a former teacher, principal and superintendent in the Smithfield Public Schools for 41 years. LaPerche first opened its doors in 1968 and presently serves students in kindergarten to grade five.
