Book Groups featuring our own Mrs. Swartz:
Our librarian, Mrs. Swartz, is hosting two different books groups at the East Smithfield Public Library. The first is for 4th and 5th graders and their parent/caregiver and begins this Thursday October 18th at 4:00 and the second is for 3rd graders and their parents/caregiver and begins next Thursday, October 25th at 4:30. What a wonderful way for parents to join with their child and explore some interesting texts!
New Student Lunch:
All of our LaPerche friends who are new to the school in grades 1st-5th should have received an invitation to a special lunch with Mrs. Dorsey on Thursday, October 18th. We are planning a “get to know you” pizza party!! If your child does not like pizza, he/she is certainly welcome to bring his/her own lunch. Please let Mrs. Dorsey know if your child is a new friend and did not receive an invitation. Thanks!
